Funny Shit
Some people call being unemployed 'in between jobs'. I don't have to sugarcoat it like that cause I'm only underemployed at the moment. I'm still workin at Bomber for the summer - my last term there. However, it's only part-time employment at best. The weather is not helping matters as most bars aren't in need of more 'tenders til their patios get busy...which doesn't happen when it's 10 degrees and cloudy. Basically, I'm saying I've got extra time on my hands....and what do I do with it? Sleep. With no reason to get up early, I'm rarely seeing the AM portion of most days...unless it's the part immediately following midnight. Another thing I've noticed is that unless you're looking for something specific on the internet, it's not really that entertaining. Luckily, there's people of like mind who find stuff for others to read and enjoy.
If you're ever looking for some funny shit to read, check out this site - McSweeney's Internet Tendency. It's full of great writings and satire. I forget how I stumbled across it, but the first article I read was "WHAT I WOULD BE THINKING ABOUT IF I WERE BILLY JOEL DRIVING TOWARD A HOLIDAY PARTY WHERE I KNEW THERE WAS GOING TO BE A PIANO".
If you know of other sites like this full of great humour, let me know and I'll start a section of links for them.

McSweeney's is the best. They have two magazines they publish. Maybe, just maybe, Andrew Clelland, you learned it from me in first year? The answer to that question is as mysterious as the water in the drawers of your desk....

I don't remember learning it from you in first year Sean (I'm sure that you did show me)....however, I do remember you pointing out the brilliance of homestarrunner, which I then neglected for several years before returning to the magic of the email, of the email...check your email, check it!

Actually, what I forgot to mention is that McSweeney's just put out a book of their best comedy from the website. You can get it at Wordsworth books downtown. It's fucking hilarious. One day, it will be mine.
